Boral Stone-Coated Metal Roofing
Boral steel roofing, now produced by Westlake Royal, is among the most commonly known metal roofing options in the country alongside EDCO stone-coated steel options. These materials are known for their aesthetic appeal and design varieties, designed to replicate more natural materials like clay or wood but with the battle-tested durability and longevity of metal.
Boral metal roofing, also known as Unified Steel Stone Coated Roofing today, is made through a unique stone-coating manufacturing process: starting with a steel core, then protective base layers, stone granules, and an overglaze finish. It is certified with Class 4 impact resistance for hail protection and a Class A fire safety rating, and with wind resistance up to 120+ mph. You can choose from several style options – shakes, shingles, and tiles – and are fully recyclable at the end of their lifespan. These roofs are also sold with a 50-year limited, fully transferable warranty so you’ll be covered with any damage that may occur.
